The invention relates to antagonists of serotonin 5-HT6 receptors / substituted 2-alkylsulfonyl-3-arylsulfonyl-cycloalcano[e and d] pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidines, to novel medicinal principles and pharmaceutical compositions which contain the medicinal principles in the form of the above-mentioned compounds, to novel medicinal agents and to a method for treating and preventing the development of CNS diseases in human beings and warm-blood animals, the pathogenesis of which is depends on 5-HT6 receptors. In general formulas (1) and (2) : R1 is a hydrogen atom or C1-C3 alkyl; R2 is C1-C3 alkyl; R3 is a hydrogen atom, one or two optionally the same halogen atoms, C1-C3 alkyl and optionally alkyl-substituted hydroxyl; and n is an integer 1, 2 or 3.
