<p>The invention relates to a method and installation for testing DC series-wound motors in shaft current, used in electrical traction. The claimed method consists in exciting in stationary mode a machine with the role of a generator to the maximal value of the exciting current, increasing the rotary speed of the second machine to be tested, followed by braking said second machine, in the conditions of applying different values for the voltage and intensity of the current, furnished by the machine with the role of a generator. The installation for applying said method comprises two mechanically and electrically coupled identical machines (1 and 2) one to be tested and the other playing the role of braking generator, with armature supply and excitation supply, respectively, by means of three-phase rectifiers (3 and 4) entirely controlled by some electronic regulators (6 and 7), between which a balance circuit (8) is mounted, the machine (2) with the role of a generator furnishing the electrical energy into the supplying circuit of the machine (1) to be tested by means of a rectifier (5).</p> |
