<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium by which satisfactory recording and reproducing can be performed. <P>SOLUTION: The optical information recording medium has at least a supporting body in which sine wave modulation grooves and address pits dispersed and disposed between the grooves are formed, a recording layer including at least a rewritable phase change material and having 18 to 30% or more reflectance and an adhesive resin layer formed on the recording layer. An address pit output value to be an address pit signal component occupying in a reproduction signal in an unrecorded state lies in a range of 0.18 to 0.27. The refractive index of the supporting body in a reproduction wavelength λ is 1.45 to 1.65.
