PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device which properly performs noise elimination according to focal length when taking a photograph. SOLUTION: In an imaging device, image data obtained based on an image of an object condensed by an image sensor 103 is input via a lens 101 whose focal length is variable, into a noise reduction (NR) processing part 181. NR strength corresponding to the focal length of the lens 101 when taking photograph is obtained from a flash memory 118 by a microcomputer 116, and obtained NR strength is input into the NR processing part 181. In the NR processing part 181, the NR processing is performed to a signal corresponding to a high frequency component of input image data according to the NR strength from the microcomputer 116.
