PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide excellent filling properties by preventing the generation of air bubbles, regardless of the state of fluid resistance by the configuration of a printing head or an apparatus. SOLUTION: A liquid filling method for reducing the pressure of the liquid filling area of a liquid filling container to fill the liquid filling area with a liquid includes: a pressure-reduction waveform obtaining process (ST1) for reducing the pressure of the filling area by a predetermined process as a reference and obtaining a measured pressure-reduction waveform based on a change in vacuum in the filling area; a filling condition obtaining process (ST2) for obtaining filling process conditions for filling the filling area with the liquid, based on the measured pressure-reduction waveform; and a filling process (ST3) for filling the filling area with the liquid, based on the obtained filling process conditions.
