PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a POS (Point of sale) terminal ensuring economy of roll paper and personal privacy protection. SOLUTION: This POS terminal has: an input part 3 inputting information related to a sales article; a printing part 5 printing account information at a point of sales on a receipt; and a control part 2 performing integral control of the whole operation. The control part 2 has a print mode decision part 21 deciding whether a print mode is a two-dimensional code print mode to print a two-dimensional code obtained by converting the account information into the two-dimensional code or a normal mode to print the account information by a text.
