摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball screw device, suitable when in use in such a mode that a screw shaft does not rotate but linearly moves in the axial direction. SOLUTION: A ball screw nut 5 and a rotor 11 of a motor 5 are coupled to each other through a clutch mechanism 7. The clutch mechanism 7 comprises a friction plate 14 provided between the ball screw nut 4 and the rotor 11, and a diaphragm spring 15 to energize the ball screw nut 4 and the rotor 11 in mutually approaching directions. As the screw shaft 3 pushes the diaphragm spring 15 in the opposite direction to the energization direction, the ball screw nut 4 and the rotor 11 are disconnected from each other.
