PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repairing solid asphalt melting pot which is for use in quick repairing work of small broken portions in a pavement surface, readily transportable to the construction site, can melt a necessary minimum amount of solid asphalt at the site, and can apply a suitable amount of molten asphalt into the broken portions, and to provide an auxiliary tool for the asphalt melting pot. SOLUTION: The repairing solid asphalt melting pot is formed of an external pot provided with a transporting means and an internal pot insertable into/withdrawable from an internal pot arrangement space inside the external pot, and having an open upper end. The external pot has a combustion chamber formed in a lower portion thereof, which has a side wall opening section formed therein, for inserting a heating means in the chamber, and the combustion chamber has a mounting member arranged therein, for bearing the internal pot, and a convection shielding means arranged on the mounting member.
