In a second cover member 46 of an oil pump 40, a recessed part 72 is formed opposite to a case 38 in the axial direction, and a ninth bearing 76 for rotatably supporting a ring gear R of a planetary gear device 22 around the axis is arranged in the recessed part 72. The overall length of the apparatus in the axial direction can be reduced more than that of a power transmission apparatus having a rotary shaft coaxial with the first motor MG1 and the second motor MG2, and the input moment in the case 38 can be reduced by the ninth bearing 76 arranged in the recessed part 72 of the second cover member 46 can be reduced to favorably suppress the degradation of the alignment.
