PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire with a sidewall rubber of a sidewall part having a winding structure of a ribbon-like strip, which is capable of considerably delaying the time for a crack generated in an outer surface of the sidewall part to reach a carcass ply. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire includes a tread part 1, a sidewall part 2, and a bead part 3. The side part 2 has a first rubber 9 having a winding structure of a ribbon-like strip, a second rubber 10 having a winding structure of a ribbon-like strip and different in color from the first rubber 9, and a cover rubber 11. The cover rubber 11 has a thick-walled portion 11a on an outer part of the second rubber 10 in the radial direction from a circumferential edge on the outer surface side. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
