PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blasting device and its operation method capable of stably projecting a mixed medium mixed with a powdery blasting medium and liquid from a nozzle via a hose. SOLUTION: In this blasting device 10, first of all, a using blasting medium is selected from a plurality of blasting media, and a projection quantity per hour is determined. Next, the suitable mixing ratio of the selected blasting medium and the liquid 18 mixed with the blasting medium is determined and stored in a control part 44. The control part 44 controls a blasting medium supply quantity by a blasting medium supply device 30 and/or a liquid supply quantity by a liquid supply part 38 so as to become the suitable mixing ratio, and eliminates clogging when internal pressure of the hose becomes higher than a specified value by supplying and stopping a replenishing liquid 48 to the nozzle 24 by controlling a replenishing liquid supply pat 50 based on the internal pressure of the hose 26 detected by a pressure sensor 46.
