PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter and a sealing sheet covering method in a cutter, automatically covering the surface of a cut material by a sealing sheet even if the cut material is spread over a cutting table. SOLUTION: The cutter 1 is provided with a sealing sheet supply unit 7, a camera 8, and a camera track 9. The sealing sheet supply unit 7 and the camera track 9 reciprocatively move in the X-axis direction along a X-moving passage 5 as an integrated unit. The camera 8 reciprocatively moves in the Y-axis direction against the camera track 9.
