Disclosed are: a resin composition for the production of a clad layer having excellent bending durability and twisting durability; a resin film for the production of a clad layer; and an optical waveguide and an optical module each produced by using the resin composition or the resin film. Specifically disclosed are: a resin composition for the production of a clad layer for an optical waveguide, which comprises (A) a (meth)acrylic polymer having a weight average molecular weight of more than 100,000, (B) urethane (meth)acrylate and (D) a radical polymerization initiator; a resin film for the production of a clad layer; and an optical waveguide and an optical module each produced by using the resin composition or the resin film.
