<p>A constant current type power supply device for high intensity LED lighting units is provided to supply constant current to the LED lighting units in order to prevent the lifetime reduction of a light-emitting diode. A constant current type power supply device for high intensity LED lighting units comprises the following units. A first rectifier(20) rectifies the output voltage of a filter(10). A power factor correction unit(30) compensates the power factor of output current according to the output voltage. A transformer(T2) drops the voltage of a first switching portion(40). A second rectifier(50) rectifies the output voltage of the transformer and supplies the rectified output voltage to a load. A first switching controller(60) controls the switching of the first switching portion. A feedback portion(70) transfers the sensed output current to the first switching controller.</p> |
