<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of obtaining a blur-free image at an appropriate exposure level in an imaging apparatus having a function of bulb photographing, long-time photographing, or the like, and to provide a control method of the imaging apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus has: an imaging section 291 for repeatedly capturing an object image at a set period to output image data; an add operation section 294 for performing an add operation to past image data each time the image data is output and for generating an addition image; an image display section 296 for displaying the addition image; a blur detection section 299 for detecting vibration in the imaging apparatus; and a control section 297 for controlling the temporary stop and start of imaging by the imaging section 291, based on the output signal of the blur detection section 299. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
