<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the conventional problems in which it is inconvenient to perform clicking with a finger different from a finger pressing a pointer position on a touch pad surface, flapping may cause malfunction due to change of the pointer position, and a sure sense of click cannot be obtained. <P>SOLUTION: In an external touch pad used as a pointing device or the touch pad unit, a plurality of leg parts is provided as click buttons, and the click buttons receive a counteraction from a unit laying surface by applying a slight pressure to a pointer position on a touch pad surface, whereby a click effect is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
