<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an austenitic stainless steel which is inexpensive, is excellent in corrosion resistance and electric conductivity, and also is excellent in workability. <P>SOLUTION: The austenitic stainless steel has a composition containing, by mass, ≤0.08% C, 0.01 to 3.00% Si, 0.01 to 10.00% Mn, 0.01 to 3.00% Cu, 15.0 to 40.0% Ni, 20.0 to 35.0% Cr, 0.1 to 4.0% Mo and 0.005 to 0.300% N, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
