<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a method of notifying paging signals to a mobile terminal from an MBMS exclusive cell while an MBMS transmission exclusive cell is provided with only a down link and is not provided with an up link. <P>SOLUTION: The communication system uses an OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) system as a down access system, uses an SC-FDMA (Single Career Frequency Division Multiple Access) system as an up access system, provides a mobile terminal an MBMS (Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service) which is a one-to-many broadcast communication service, and is capable of transmitting broadcast type data and transmitting one-to-one individual communication data to the mobile terminal. In the communication system, paging signals to the mobile terminal are synchronously transmitted in a plurality of cells included in an MBSFN synchronous area during the reception of the broadcast type data transmitted from the MBMS exclusive cell. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
