<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel additive containing ferrocene and/or a ferrocene derivative that can be easily and stably dissolved in a fuel. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel additive contains ferrocene and/or a ferrocene derivative and lecithin. The fuel additive in a solid form comprises 80-99 mass% of ferrocene and/or a ferrocene derivative and 1-20 mass% of lecithin. The fuel additive in a granular form comprises 78-99 mass% of ferrocene and/or a ferrocene derivative, 0.9-20 mass% of lecithin, and 0.1-2 mass% water. The fuel additive in a liquid form comprises a mineral oil in which ferrocene and/or a ferrocene derivative and lecithin are dissolved, provided that the amount of the ferrocene and/or the ferrocene derivative contained is 2-5 mass%, and the amount of lecithin is 5-50 mass%. The fuel additive is used so that the concentration of the ferrocene and/or the ferrocene derivative in the fuel is 1-50 ppm, and the concentration of lecithin is 0.01-500 ppm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
