<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcomputer for making serial communication even in a sleep mode. <P>SOLUTION: The microcomputer includes a serial communication means for generating a sub-clock in a sleep mode in which a power consumption quantity is smaller than an ordinary operation mode of a CPU other than a main clock generated in the ordinary operation mode of the CPU, operating by the sub-clock in the sleep mode, and making serial communication with a peripheral circuit; a wake-up factor determination means for determining whether or not a wake-up factor by which wake-up to switch an operation mode from the sleep mode to the ordinary operation mode has generated on the basis of reception data; and a wake-up signal output means for outputting a wake-up signal for switching the operation mode from the sleep mode to the ordinary operation mode to an operation mode switching means when it is determined that the wake-up factor has generated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
