<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorbent having a high adsorption capacity with respect to oxygen and employing, as its primary component, an organic material highly compatible with the environment and yet capable of suppressing heat generation in the oxidation process of the primary component, and a heat insulating material of an excellent heat insulating property. <P>SOLUTION: The heat insulating material 1 is constituted of a core member 2, an outer cover 3, an adsorbent 4, and a moisture-adsorbent 5. The adsorbent 4 is a mixture of a carbon precursor 6 derived from cellulose, and inorganic powder 7. The heat insulating material 1 keeps the core member 2 disposed inside the outer cover 3. The adsorbent 4 and the moisture-adsorbent 5 are disposed in the core member 2. The inside of the outer cover 3 is decompressed and sealed. The carbon precursor 6 derived from cellulose has a high oxygen-adsorption capacity. The adsorbent 4 suppresses heat generation in the oxidation process of the primary component by virtue of the inorganic powder 7 mixed therein. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
