PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently use a direct current high voltage impressed on a discharge needle. SOLUTION: This static eliminator is a device to destaticize an object to be destaticized by neutralizing positive and negative static electricity charged on the surface of the object by plus ions and minus ions generated by corona discharge in a direct current high voltage, and is equipped with a plus electrode part 2 to generate the plus ions, a minus electrode part 3 to generate the minus ions, a static eliminator body 4 in which the plus electrode part 2 and the minus electrode part 3 are alternatively arranged, and a leakage preventive partition which partitions the plus electrode part 2 from the minus electrode part 3 to prevent electrical leakage between both of them.
