PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for reducing sound (noise) generated from an article drying device for drying articles such as beverage containers and bottles. SOLUTION: The device includes a sealed housing mounted with one or more chambers having air nozzles 40, 42, and a carrying-in port and a carrying-out port for articles 30 to be dried. In an internal route of an air flow inside the housing, regulated exhaust of air is performed from one or more exhaust ports. The internal route of the air flow is designed so that the air flow passes through the carrying-in port and/or the carrying-out port for the articles 30 to be dried. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
