PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator door device with a guide device, wherein no need exists for a guide groove in the upper face of a sill without increasing a clearance between a car and a landing. SOLUTION: The elevator door device comprises sliding doors forming a doorway passage at an open position in cooperation with a doorway frame, and the guide device for guiding the doors with a guide and a guide rail. The guide rail is provided on the doors, and the guide is provided on the vertical frame of the doorway frame or the sill at another position than the doorway passage. A protrusion and a protrusion fitting hole are provided on an abutting face between the doors or between the door and the vertical frame. Thus, no need exists for the guide groove in the upper face of the sill without increasing a clearance between a car sill and a landing sill. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
