An atomized copper-lead alloy comprising loose particles no greater than will pass a 100-mesh screen and consisting of 5-50 per cent Pb, 0-2 per cent Ni, 0-12 per cent Sn, 0-0.5 per cent P with the balance Cu, is characterized by an oxygen inclusion not exceeding 0.5 per cent and preferably not exceeding 0.2 per cent. Such particles may be most conveniently produced by the method and apparatus described in Specification 640,457. |
