This invention relates to a double ball joint device (100) comprising: - a housing (102); - a first joint element (104) comprising a first ball (106), wherein a major portion (106a) of said first ball is mounted and retained within said housing and a minor portion (106b) of the first ball protrudes from said housing through a first opening (124) thereof, and a first shaft (108), which is attached to the first ball at said minor portion thereof; - a second joint element (110) comprising a second ball (112), wherein a major portion (112a) of said second ball is mounted and retained within said housing and a minor portion (112b) of the second ball protrudes from said housing through a second opening (126) thereof, and a second shaft (114), which is attached to the second ball at said minor portion thereof; - a locking washer (116), which is arranged between said first and second balls and which comprises a first seat (128) for receiving said first ball, and an opposite second seat (130) for receiving said second ball; and - an operation member (118), which is operable between a locked state where it urges said locking washer to clamp lock said first and second joint elements in a current position, and a released state where it releases said locking washer thereby releasing the joint elements, wherein the joint elements are pivotable, at said released state, into a desired position. |
