#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves determining carbon dioxide emissions, caused by users (5, 7, 9), from movement- and/or stop-behavior of mobile terminals of the users. The terminals are operated by a mobile radio network (2) that conforms to global system for mobile communications (GSM), general packet radio service (GPRS)and/or universal mobile telecommunications system (UMTS)wireless standards. Information concerning movement and/or detention of the mobile terminals in the network is detected. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Method for performing semi-automatic detection of emission of carbon dioxide from a user in a vehicle.
