<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection type three-dimensional image reproducing apparatus, preventing crosstalk between adjacent lenses or between adjacent hologram optical elements to eliminate shift of a three-dimensional image and enable stable display of a three-dimensional image in reproducing a stereoscopic image using a lenticular lens array, a fly-eye lens array or a hologram optical element. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of images including parallax information are projected from one or more projectors on the focal plane of the lens array or the hologram optical element and arranged to be different in given polarization characteristic between them so that the beam of the image including parallax information to be reproduced passes through the intended lens or the intended hologram optical element. Polarizing plates are disposed on the exit side planes of the respective lenses or the surfaces of the respective optical elements so that the polarization characteristic is different between the adjacent lenses or between the adjacent optical elements, and it is the same in every other lens or in every other optical element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
