PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire including the core wire in which an element wire capable of surely obtaining stable electric connection between a terminal metal fitting constituted of aluminum or aluminum alloy. SOLUTION: The electric wire 1 includes the core wire 3 in which the element wires 5a, 5b, 5c constituted of aluminum or aluminum alloy are bundled in a plurality of numbers, and an insulating covering part 4 to cover the core wire 3. An unevenness 14 is formed on the outer surface of the element wire 5b positioned more inside than the outermost element wire 5a out of the plurality of element wires 5a, 5b, 5c. By arranging a concave part 14a and a convex part 14b in the circumferential direction of the element wire 5b, the unevenness 14 is formed on the outer surface of the element wire 5b.
