<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server system capable of flexibly achieving the low power consumption of the entire server system in accordance with an actual usage situation. <P>SOLUTION: The server system relating to an embodiment of the present invention includes a plurality of servers (40A to 40C) and virtual machines (#1 to #9) movable among the plurality of servers, aggregates the virtual machines within the range of maximum power of the servers with respect to movement of the virtual machines (#1 to #9) among the servers on the basis of a condition for minimizing the number of operating servers on the basis of power consumption of the virtual machines in real time and residual power of the servers in real time and stops a server in which the aggregation prevents the virtual machines from being started. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
