PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To read out image data without color shift even when vertical resolution is established in various setting values. SOLUTION: Pixel arrays 21 to 23 are arranged in an order from upper side of a perpendicular direction so that a pitch P1 of the perpendicular direction becomes 4/3 times of a size W1 of the perpendicular direction of an aperture unit of respective pixels G1. A resolution establishing unit 101 establishes vertical resolution at a time of scanning an original following operation input from a user received by an operation unit 8. Defining a period as a piece of the H period in which the pixel arrays 21 to 23 move a distance of 1/3 times of the size of respective pixel arrays 21 to 23, an assignment unit 102 divides 1 frame interval into a plurality of H periods, and assigns read-out timing of each pixel array to the predetermined H period in which the color shift does not occur according to the vertical resolution established by the resolution establishing unit 101.
