PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yarn added with functions of charcoal, and to provide commercial products environmentally friend and contributing to circulating type society by effectively utilizing plum seeds to be disposed as an industrial waste. SOLUTION: A base paper for paper yarn is obtained by mixing charcoal powder with fiber of paper stock and making paper containing the charcoal, the base paper is slitted to be long, slender and tape-like, and the tape is twisted to be the paper yarn.
