PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding apparatus which can reduce deformation of a molded material within a mold after the completion of molding. SOLUTION: A molding apparatus (1) comprises a first mold (2) and a second mold (16) that can be relatively movable relative to the first mold (2) between an isolated position isolated from the first mold (2) and a molding completion position at which the second mold (16) comes into contact with the first mold (2) and allows a workpiece (4) to be inserted and held therein, a fixation pushing member (21) that is provided on the second mold (16) and, at the molding completion position, deforms the workpiece (4) into a shape after working, a moving support member (7) that, when the second mold (16) is located at the molding completion position, holds the workpiece (4) between the moving support member (7) and the fixation pushing member (21) and is pushed into a holding position, a holding member (9) that holds the moving support member (7) moved to the holding position, and holding release members (14, 33) that, when the second mold (16) is isolated and moved from the first mold (2), engages with the holding members (9, 36) to release the holding of the moving support member (7).
