PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which has good fitting performance and can securely prevent sideways leakage of urine. SOLUTION: An inside part 9a of rising band materials 9 on both sides of the absorbent article 4 is folded in a Z-shape in the cross section. A bottom side part 9c with the Z-shape cross section is joined with a top sheet 4b of the absorbent article 4 and an elastic body 11 (a, b) is attached to an upper side part 9d.
