Disclosed is a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating fat metabolism-related diseases such as obesity, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and the like containing 2-cyclopentene-l-one oxime derivatives represented by Chemistry Figure 1. The compound can facilitate fat breakdown in differentiated adipocytes (3T3-L1), thereby reducing body fat. Thus, it can be used for preventing or treating fat metabolism-related diseases such as obesity, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and the like. In Chemistry Figure 1, R1 represents linear or branched C1 -C6 alkyl, cycloalkyl, or phenyl with or without a substituent, and R2 represents an aromatic group with or without a substituent.
