<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nonaqueous secondary battery which assures the safety of the battery and productivity, and can endure the use in larger current and use in a wider temperature span. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous secondary battery comprises housing positive and negative electrodes which can occlude and discharge lithium and a nonaqueous electrolyte containing a lithium salt in a battery case, wherein the void ratio of a combination of drugs which forms the positive electrode and/or negative electrode is 10% or more and 45% or less, and as the nonaqueous electrolyte, a nonaqueous electrolyte is used which dissolves LiPF<SB>6</SB>and LiBF<SB>4</SB>in a mixed solvent which at least contains a total of ≥15 vol.% and <90 vol.% of at least one ester chosen from a group consisting of dimethyl carbonate, ethyl methyl carbonate, methyl propionate, and ethyl propionate and ≥10 vol.% and <55 vol.% of ethylene carbonate so that the density may be ≥0.6 M and ≤1.5 M. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
