PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the security of data to be provided to an application in an electronic device. SOLUTION: An IP server W transmits an e-mail to a mobile machine MS. An activation instruction tag for instructing activation of a Java application and a delivery instruction tag for providing data are described in the e-mail. The mobile machine MS compares a transmitter address of the e-mail with permission information described in an ADF of the Java application instructed by the e-mail. The permission information is a transmitter address of e-mail for permitting activation of the Java application, providing of data or the like. Only when the comparison result is matched, the mobile machine MS activates the Java application according to the activation instruction tag described in the e-mail, and delivers data designated by the delivery instruction tag to the Java application.
