PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely and efficiently remove dust by a dust removing means by surely holding an air filter without degrading ventilation characteristics, in an indoor unit of an air conditioner comprising the dust removing means for removing dust caught by the air filter. SOLUTION: This indoor unit has a constitution comprising a partitioning plate 25 provided with an opening 26 on which the air filter 30 is positioned, a plurality of beam portions 27 disposed in the opening 26 for holding the air filter 30 from a downstream side of the air filter, and a reinforcement member 123 for reinforcing at least one beam portion 120 among the plurality of beam portions 27.
