PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for optical materials, excellent in transparency and heat resistance and having good toughness, to provide a resin film for optical materials, using the resin composition for the optical materials, and to provide an optical waveguide using them, excellent in transparency, reliability, and resin resistance, and having good toughness. SOLUTION: Provided are the resin composition for the optical materials, comprising (A) a (meth)acrylic polymer having a maleimide skeleton as a main chain, (B) a polymerizable compound containing a compound having an isocyanurate skeleton, and (C) a polymerization initiator; the resin film for the optical materials, using the resin composition for the optical materials; and the optical waveguide using them.
