PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for automatically determining a writing system preferably selected by a user in a session start protocol, and for providing caller ID information to a user in a preferred writing system. SOLUTION: An "Accept-language" header field of a first session start protocol (SIP) message identifies first side preferred selection language of communication, a database correlates the language with the writing system, and further mutual correlation is used in order to insert a second side name of the communication expressed in the writing system of the first side preferred selection language into "P-Asserted-Identity", "From", or "Contact" of the second SIP message.
