摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a natural image, wherein a nonsmooth connection is not conspicuous, even when long-time exposure is performed for photographing, in a solid-state imaging element manufactured by dividing an imaging area into a plurality of divided areas and performing exposure for each of the divided areas. SOLUTION: Between two divided areas 3a and 3b of a solid-state imaging element, one is used as a reference area and the other is used as an area to be corrected. In each divided area 3a, 3b, an optical black pixel output voltage is subtracted from an imaging pixel output voltage of the imaging area to calculate an optical output voltage, and the optical black pixel output voltage is defined as a dark output voltage. The optical output voltage and the dark output voltage are corrected individually, respectively, and both the voltages are summed up. Thus, a nonsmooth connection in the solid-state imaging element 3 is corrected by matching element sensitivity of each area to be corrected with element sensitivity of the reference area so as to separately correct an optical output component and a dark output component of the imaging pixel output voltage in the imaging area.
