PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To link arbitrary variable length character strings, in a re-separatable state, in which being a prefix code is not secured, and any terminal code or division code is not prepared, without generating the number of characters on expression. SOLUTION: This data working process includes: preparing a plurality of mutually exclusive character groups; and using characters in the character group where the type of characters to be used for the tail of arbitrary data and the type of characters to be used for the leading of the next data are different from each other to work variable length data in a state that the division of the variable length data is specifiable for connection.
