PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for identifying the kind of Hevea brasiliensis, by which the kind of Hevea brasiliensis can simply and accurately be identified. SOLUTION: Provided is the method for identifying the kind of the Hevea brasiliensis, characterized by identifying the kind of the Hevea brasiliensis on the basis of a standard comprising at least one of the presence or absence of an amplified DNA fragment obtained by performing a PCR with a primer set comprising a plurality of specific base sequences and capable of being stably amplified, and the restriction enzyme-cleaved pattern of the amplified DNA fragment.
