A liner/bladder assembly (24) is provided wherein the liner (28) is positioned relative to the bladder such that a portion of the bladder having a greater wall thickness extends beyond the ends of the liner. The present invention also includes a device and method for repairing the junction of a main pipe and the lateral pipe with bladders reinforced in areas unconstrained by the liners.
