<p>A first storage device transmits a processing start instruction to a second storage device. The second storage device receives the processing start instruction, recognizes the first storage device and requests a setting file required for setting operation environment from the first storage device. The first storage device transmits the setting file and data to the second storage device. The second storage device stores received setting file and data. The first storage device transmits a switching instruction of address information to the second storage device and invalidates address information which is set in the first storage device. The second storage device sets address information of the first storage device as address information of the second storage device and validates address information which is set.</p>
