PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal, server apparatus and communication system for purchasing content data while taking into account user convenience. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal includes: a moving time calculating means 202 for calculating a moving time from a departure place to a destination; a download time calculating means 204 for calculating the time for downloading content data; a comparing means 203 for comparing the moving time, from the departure place to the destination, calculated by the moving time calculating means 202 with the time, for downloading the content data, calculated by the download time calculating means 204; a selecting means 204 for selecting a receiver 301 based on a result of the comparison by the comparing means 202; and a communication means 209 for downloading the content data to the receiver 301 selected by the selecting means 204.
