PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress rattling or wobble of members retained through hooking pawls, and to enhance the appearance or style of furniture or fixtures. SOLUTION: The member mounting structure includes: slits 11, 12, 13, and 14 bored in one member 1 and vertically opened; the hook pawls 25 provided at another member 2 and inserted into the slits 11, 12, 13, and 14, and engaging lower opening edges of the slits 11, 12, 13, and 14; fitting/inserting pieces 37 provided at an exterior member 3, inserted into the slits 12 and 14, and engaging upper opening edges of the slits 12 and 14 while partially overlapping with the hook pawls 25; and a locking body 32 provided at the exterior member 3, and locking the upward movement of the other member 2.
