<p>A method for predicting the residual online lifetime of peer in peer-to-peer network is provided. Said method includes: obtaining M history lifetime period sampling data of Si of peer, i=1, , M; determining the number of n of Gaussian elements in multiple-dimension Gaussian hybrid model to establish, wherein n=2, said multiple-dimension Gaussian hybrid model denoting the probability distribution of the residual online lifetime of said peer; using Si and n to establish said multiple-dimension Gaussian hybrid model; and using established multiple-dimension Gaussian hybrid model to predict the residual online lifetime of said peer. Adevice for predicting the residual online lifetime of peer in peer-to-peer network is also provided.</p> |
