<p>The present invention provides a solution to the treatment of absorbents based on biodegradable fibres after having rid fluids, soils or other surfaces of their pollution, and also during the regeneration of the pollutants in a regenerator. In order to do this, the invention makes provision for treating the absorbents impregnated with fluid pollutants, in particular hydrocarbons, by only one separation between the absorbents and the fluid pollutants and recycling of the separated then repackaged absorbents and pollutants. The separation is carried out, for example, in a centrifuge comprising a body (23) driven by a main motor (25), a feed pipe (21) at the centre of a worm (22) driven by a gearmotor 24. The body (23) has a cylindrical portion 230 and a conical portion 231. The granules 10, pressed against the inner wall of the body 23 and purified, are discharged to the conical portion 231, then exit via nozzles 26 and are collected in a packaging container 27. The liquid composed of hydrocarbons is recovered through openings 28 and poured into a suitable container 29. The absorbent may be used as a depolluting agent for crude hydrocarbons in a regenerator before being centrifuged or compressed in order to be able to be recycled.</p> |
