<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antioxidant fabric, and to provide clothing and bedding each using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The antioxidant fabric is such as to be directly borne with platinum nanoparticles protected with a water-soluble polymer and/or a surfactant, wherein the mass ratio of the water-soluble polymer and/or the surfactant to one platinum nanoparticle is 0.5-2 and the platinum nanoparticles are borne at 0.1μg or more, on a dry basis, on 1 g of the fabric. The clothing or the bedding may be formed of the fabric or may be obtained by directly bearing the platinum nanoparticles, thus being hopeful of the effects of decomposing active oxygen and/or free radicals having been said to affect human health via the ambient air. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
